Footage of Famous Dex being arrested has now been released.
In the video, Dex is questioned by a police officer in what appears to be a hotel lobby in Las Vegas. The arrest took place on August 23 after his girlfriend, influencer Pam Rodriguez, accused him of domestic violence.
During the questioning, Famous Dex denied doing anything to Rodriguez. He also alleged that she was trying to take money from him and claimed her security team had been influencing her.
Dex and Rodriguez reportedly dated for approximately three weeks.
The interaction took an unexpected turn when the officer appeared surprised to learn that Dex was scheduled to perform at the Grand Arena.
“Bro, you’re performing at the Grand Arena?”
The conversation then became more casual, with Dex name-dropping some of his famous friends, including Future and Playboi Carti.
According to previous reports, police allege Dex assaulted Rodriguez in Las Vegas, one day after she accused him of punching her in the eye.
As the footage gives fans a closer look at the moment surrounding Dex’s arrest, the allegations against the Chicago rapper remain a developing story.
