Ahead of its season two premiere, The Gentlemen has already been renewed for a third season.
Created by Guy Ritchie as a spin-off to his 2019 film of the same name, the action comedy series follows Eddie Horniman as he unexpectedly inherits a weed empire and partners with a criminal dynasty, who have their own motives.

Theo James plays the lead role, alongside Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Joshua McGuire, Vinnie Jones, Edward Fox, Giancarlo Esposito and Ray Winstone.
After the first season debuted in 2024, The Gentlemen season two was released on Netflix in September 2026.
Is The Gentlemen season 3 happening?
Netflix officially renewed The Gentlemen for a third season on August 24, 2026, a week prior to season two’s debut.
Speaking about the renewal, creator Guy Ritchie said: “The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded, and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”
Meghan Markle was reportedly in discussions to star in the show’s third season. However, according to Tina Brown, former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, her casting was ‘withdrawn’ because “the backlash in the UK was so intense, it became untenable to go forward”.
When is the third season coming out?
Netflix has not announced a release date for season three. However, considering there was a two-year gap between seasons one and two, the third batch of episodes will likely arrive sometime in 2028.
