UMusic Hotel will open on London’s Denmark Street.
A partnership between Outernet London and UMusic Hospitality and Lifestyle, the hotel is expected to open between October 1 and December 31. They will take over the 55-bedroom former hotel Chateau Denmark, which closed its doors last August.
It will be the first hotel in the UK from UMusic and the second hotel in Europe, with UMusic Hotel Madrid opened in 2022. Along with Outernet, which owns the venues Outernet Live and The Lower Third, the companies will “combine live performances, nightlife, hospitality and immersive entertainment within one connected cultural district”.
The partnership will also see Outernet’s programming led by UMHL, who will draw from their extensive roster of artists and labels.
Speaking about the new venture, president of UMHL Jordi Solé said: “Denmark Street holds a special place in music history. For decades, it has been a place where artists found their voice, creativity flourished, and music culture took shape. We are incredibly proud to be part of its next chapter. Together with Outernet, we have the opportunity to honor that legacy by creating hospitality and cultural experiences that inspire discovery, support emerging artists, and ensure this remarkable destination continues to shape the future of music for generations to come.”
Meanwhile, Outernet CEO Philip O’Ferrall said: “Music has always been a driving force for Outernet, and we are in a place rooted in musical history. Connecting that heritage with a platform that can reach mass audiences both physically and through our immersive screens and audio technology is what makes this partnership so special. I’m very proud to be working with UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle, and I know what they will bring to Outernet will be spectacular, transforming the experience of both artists and fans.”

Formerly known as HERE at Outernet, Outernet Live relaunched earlier this year under its new name.
Originally opened in 2022, Outernet Live is the largest live events venue to be built in the centre of London since the 1940s, and has a capacity of 2000.
The venue’s new branding includes a “new strategic and programming direction”, with Ticketmaster taking over all ticketing operations for Outernet Live in the coming weeks.
There will also be new “exclusive premium offerings in the venue” on the way for visitors. Details about these offerings are soon to follow.
