Director Adriana Chiarella makes his feature debut with supernatural horror Leviticus.
The Australian film follows two teenagers who, after being forced to undergo a conversion therapy ritual, must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire the most – each other.

Joe Bird and Stacy Clausen lead the film’s cast, alongside Mia Wasikowska, Jeremy Blewitt, Ewen Leslie, Davida McKenzie, Nicholas Hope and Zahra Newman.
Leviticus is set to be released in UK cinemas from September 4, 2026.
Who composed the Leviticus soundtrack?
The film’s score is by Jed Kurzel, who is a founding member of the Australian blues rock duo The Mess Hall. His previous film soundtrack credits include Monkey Man, The Pope’s Exorcist and Alien: Covenant.

What other songs appear in the film?
Along with the score, Leviticus features the track ‘Self Control’ by Frank Ocean, which plays over the end credits. This is the first time the singer has approved one of his songs for a film since 2019’s Waves, a psychological drama starring Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Taylor Russell.
