The US pop star performed on the R&L main stage – now known as The Grid – over the weekend, and pulled one of the biggest crowds at the 2026 edition of the festival. During his set, he performed alongside Slayyyter, and kicked off the set by walking out with her from an ambulance stretcher.

Now, following the appearance at the dual festival, Sombr has announced a 2027 UK and European run of shows, which come as an extension of his massive ‘You Are The Reason’ tour.

Dates kick off in Norway with a slot at the Unity Arena in Oslo on May 8, and continue throughout the month with shows in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and more. Support for those dates will come from Ravyn Lenae and Jessie Mazin.

The tour wraps up on June 22 with a huge stop at The O2 in London, and that gig will see support come from Suki Waterhouse.

Festival slots include shows at Dublin’s Malahide Castle, Belfast’s Belsonic Ormeau Park, Glasgow’s Summer Sessions and more across June and July.

Tickets for the 2027 shows go on sale on Friday (September 4) at 10am local time, and pre-sale options start tomorrow (Wednesday September 2). Visit here for tickets.

For Sombr, the new tour comes following the 21-year-old singer dropping his breakthrough single ‘Back To Friends’ last year, and his critically acclaimed debut studio album, ‘I Barely Know Her’ last summer, which featured tracks ‘Undressed’ and ‘12 to 12’.

Since then, he has released more music in 2026, including ‘Homewrecker’ and ‘Potential’, as well as recently-released single ‘My Body Isn’t Ready’.

The singer spoke to NME at the BRITs 2026, where he was nominated for International Artist and International Song (‘Undressed’). There, he said he felt “honoured” to be at the awards, and was “thankful for the British people for accepting” his debut album “with open arms”.

“I just love it here,” he told us. “It’s the music that comes from the UK [that clicks with me]. In my opinion, I love America, but I think acts from the UK just beat them, in terms of iconic acts.” He cited the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Elton John, as well as some legendary Manchester bands like Oasis and The Stone Roses.
