Geese honoured Dolly Parton and played ‘Disco’ live for the first time during their ongoing tour at two recent gigs in Glasgow. Watch below.

The band are currently on the road in the UK, and are due to perform at Reading Festival on Friday (August 28) and Leeds Festival the following day, before playing two headline shows at London’s Troxy on September 1 and 2. They will then headline the opening night of End Of The Road on September 3.
On Tuesday (August 25) they took to the stage for the first of two shows in Glasgow just hours after the death of Dolly Parton was announced. To honour the country music icon, frontman Cameron Winter paused during their performance of ‘2122’ to play Parton’s 1977 hit ‘Here You Come Again’ from his phone into the microphone.
Geese often incorporates covers while playing ‘2122’ live. Ahead of the moment, Winter said: “Rest in peace Dolly,” before bringing his phone up to his guitar.
On night two, Geese also treated the audience to the tour’s first performance of their 2021 track ‘Disco’. Check out footage and the full setlists, below.

Geese’s latest album ‘Getting Killed’ received five stars from NME before topping our list of the best albums of 2025.
In a five-star review of Geese’s Hammersmith Apollo show earlier this year, NME wrote: “While Winter’s last solo gig in these parts revealed him as a Tom Waits or Nick Cave for our time, tonight feels like one of those hallowed shows seeing Nirvana or The Strokes come into their own, or Radiohead finding their voice.
“In any way, it’s between Geese and Fontaines D.C. to define this decade as a band.”
