The couple announced their engagement last August and tied the knot at a star-studded ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday (July 3).

Per a statement from Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, the couple did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her “Man of Honour” and Jason Kelce (Travis’ brother) was the groom’s Best Man.

The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, performances came from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks, and guests in attendance included Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Aaron Dessner, the Haim sisters, Sombr, Ellie Goulding, Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, the Chainsmokers, Lucy Dacus and Benson Boone.

Graham Norton, who notably appeared in Swift’s music video for ‘Opalite’, was in the crowd as well.

Many details of the wedding, including photos from the event, have remained under wraps, although National Football League (NFL) coach Andy Reid has now shared some of the words of wisdom that Adam Sandler offered to the couple on the day.

Saying that Sandler did a “phenomenal job” of officiating the marriage, the Kansas City Chiefs head coach told CNN that Sandler told the couple to “Kiss every chance you have, every day… Whether you’re going to bed or going to work or, you know, wherever, go ahead and kiss her.”

Reid continued: “I thought that was, in a simple way, in its simplest form, it really was touching.”

Sandler has been married to his wife Jackie since 2003, and they share two daughters together.

Speaking about how he has seen Swift and Kelce’s relationship evolve since they began dating in summer 2023, Reid told the outlet: “I’ve had a chance to see them grow together, and that’s the most important thing,” the coach continued.

“That there’s a love there, a sincere love, and, obviously, they’re different people, from different worlds, but they’ve come together to join hands, and they’re really special together.”

Other guests who attended the wedding include Marisa Hargitay from Law & Order: SVU, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jessica Chastain.

Ahead of the wedding, some details were revealed, with a city permit outlining the schedule obtained for the high-profile event. It was also shared that Swift and Kelce donated $26million (£19.5million) to 20 charities across the United States earlier in the week.
