Korean music label Singing Beetle announced today, June 20 that its highly anticipated K-pop boy group 1VERSE will officially debut on Friday, July 18, 2025, with their first SINGLE album, “The 1st Verse” — the debut release not only for the group, but for the label itself.
“Alone we are verses, together we are 1VERSE.”
1VERSE (pronounced “universe”) features five extraordinarily talented artists from Korea, the United States, and Japan: HYUK, SEOK, NATHAN, KENNY, and AITO. Two of the members — rapper HYUK and singer SEOK — are making history of being the first K-pop group with two North Korean defectors. NATHAN and KENNY come from the US, and AITO from Japan.

1VERSE’s debut SINGLE album, “The 1st Verse”, will blend each of the five members’ individual artistry and talent with electrifying contributions from renowned industry creatives, including hitmakers for BTS, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, and NCT.
‘The 1st Verse’ and the debut of 1VERSE will mark a bold addition to the world of K-pop — a dazzling blend of authentic, forceful storytelling with heart-pounding music.
The name 1VERSE reflects the unity of the group’s five members with their devoted and rapidly growing fanbase, ‘5TARZ’ (pronounced “stars”). Though they come from vastly different places, HYUK, SEOK, NATHAN, KENNY, AITO — and their ‘5TARZ’ (fan name) — are all searching for the same thing: their truest selves.
To add to the anticipation a debut poster was released and revealed that a pre-release song called ‘MULTIVERSE’ will come out on July 4 at 12PM KST.
‘The 1st Verse’ will be available for pre-order at 3pm KST on Friday, June 27, 2025, with limited quantities available, and will premiere on @1VERSE_official’s YouTube channel at 12pm KST on Friday, July 18, 2025.
