The EP’s three title tracks — “SHUT DA FXXKA AND GO,” “PULL UP,” and “LIFE IS A MOVIE” — contribute to loose emotional arc from tough love to escapism to reflective resilience. “Shut Da Fxxka and Go” is an anti-procrastination anthem that dismisses endless talk and fear of failure, insisting life has no final “answer,” only an endless string of problems to accept and enjoy, and that no one — least of all self-doubt — should hold the keys to your own life.
“Pull Up” flips that energy into a party-hard bender that initially brags about needing no love, only money and nights that never end, but slowly reveals itself as heartbreak in disguise, with the narrator numbing himself, warning an ex to stay away because nothing real survives the lights, and ultimately begging for one more chance.
“My Life Is a Movie” steps back into a more reflective register, framing life itself as a film — sometimes romantic, sometimes chaotic — where loved ones are the names in the credits worth remembering forever, and every sunrise is a new scene beginning again. It too carries a hidden wound, alluding to heartbreak and someone showing up wanting the past restored, but the narrator copes by treating pain as just another scene he’s already watched the ending to, using cinematic distance to keep moving forward.
