The rumours of the controversial rapper delving into the adult film industry come according to a Yeezy representative, who spoke to TMZ recently.

According to the report, West – who now goes by Ye – is looking to turn his sights to the porn industry, and both he and his partners are “in advanced talks to actually get something up and running.”

The outlet also went on to say that the “Yeezy Porn studio” would be established as part of a “broader entertainment division” at his parent Yeezy company, and to help get the project off the ground the artist has teamed up with porn producer Mike Moz – who is also the ex-husband of Stormy Daniels.

As per TMZ, the project could be launched as early as Summer 2024.

The rumoured venture into the pornography industry comes following the rapper being candid about his struggle with porn addiction.

Back in 2019, the rapper spoke to Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 in Wyoming ahead of the release of ‘Jesus Is King’. During the interview, West acknowledged the extent of his “full-on pornography addiction” and said he was overcoming it thanks to his belief in God.

“Playboy was a gateway to a full-on pornography addiction. My dad had a Playboy left out at age 5. It has affected every choice I have made for the rest of my life from age 5 to now, where I’m having to kick the habit. And it just presents itself in the open, like it’s OK. And I stand up and say: it’s not OK,” he said.

“With God, I’ve been able to beat things that had a full control of me… You know that Playboy that I found when I was 5 was written all over the moment when I was at the MTV Awards with the Timberlands, the Balmain jeans — before people was rocking Balmain jeans — and the Hennessy bottle.”

The news also comes after the rapper made headlines after he and his partner Bianca Censori were reportedly “banned for life” after indecent exposure on a Venice boat.

NME has reached out for comment regarding the legitimacy of the ‘Yeezy Porn Studio’ claims.

In other Ye news, it was reported earlier this week that the rapper had gotten involved in the ongoing rap beef between Drake, J. Cole, Future and Kendrick Lamar – making an appearance on Justin Laboy’s radio show The Download, and premiering his remix of ‘Like That’.

He has also been at the forefront of controversy too, for incidents including accusations of punching a man in the face who allegedly “sexually assaulted” his wife, accusations of “stealing” a sample from Underground producer TSVI, backlash from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne over anti-Semitic comments, and criticism from the Donna Summer estate for using a sample of her seminal track ‘I Feel Love’ without permission.

West was later sued by a former Yeezy and Donda Academy student for allegedly threatening to “cage” his students. Trevor Phillips has accused the musician of a number of allegations including verbal abuse, threatening physical violence and comparing himself to Hitler.

While representatives have not yet responded to the allegations brought to light by Phillips, they have previously dismissed claims about the Donda Academy. In a past response from Ye’s lawyer, the former employees’ descriptions of the school were described as a “dystopian institution designed to satisfy Ye’s idiosyncrasies”.

His latest album was a collaborative LP with Ty Dolla $ign titled ‘Vultures 1’, and was given a two-star review by NME, and criticised for its “degrading lyrics and messy mixes”.
