“To anyone who has included me in those choices, I’m so, so, so thankful for that. We have so many exciting things ahead of us. I’m continuing on with the tour and most importantly I have a brand new album called The Tortured Poets Department, which comes out on April 19.”

She concluded: “Thank you for voting for me for this incredible honor, artist of the year. I’m so blown away, I’m so thankful and I just can’t wait to keep having fun with you guys because we have a lot of exciting things coming up.”

She was in the top 10 on the list with three former No. 1s: 1989 (Taylor’s Version) at No.6, Lover at No.7 and Midnights at No.9. Billboard noted that though all three albums were in the top 10 in one week, they contributed three weeks to her overall total.

Since the Billboard 200 combined its separate mono and stereo album charts in August of 1963, Swift now has the most weeks in the top 10. She moved past The Beatles, who have a total of 382 weeks in the top 10 across their 32 top 10-charting albums.
