Fashion is subjective, and even the most beautiful people can have misses with their looks. The same can be said for K-Pop idols, as netizens will openly discuss looks that they believe fell short or even took away from their faves’ looks.

These some of the “worst” and most debated looks of 2023, according to netizens’ reactions, in no particular order.

1. THE BOYZ — PHANTASY “Christmas In August”

“Christmas In July” is a popular marketing tactic, but THE BOYZ‘s “Christmas In August” themed concept images fell short for many. The members looked handsome, but netizens felt the outfits were “too literal.”

2. LE SSERAFIM — Louis Vuitton 2023 Pre-Fall Show

LE SSERAFIM appeared at Louis Vuitton‘s show in Seoul in late February, sporting various looks from the brand. Fans thought the idols were beautiful but did not appreciate the fashion choices, saying the group did not look cohesive.

3. aespa — “Thirsty” Performance

While fans found Ningning and Winter‘s outfits trendier than Giselle and Karina‘s bulky styling, netizens found the looks incohesive.

4. NewJeans — 2023 Asia Artist Awards
