During the press conference, Lee Jae Gyu expressed admiration for Park Bo Young, who played the main role. He complimented her big heart but also expressed his worry that it would affect her mental health.
She cares more about others than herself. I was worried that she might get hurt emotionally. If she’s too considerate to people, it can lead to mental illnesses.

He continued that the character Park Bo Young plays in Daily Dose of Sunshine is also someone who puts others first—just like the actress. However, the character was “one-upped” by Park Bo Young.
Da Eun (the character played by Park Bo Young) also believes it’s more important for patients to be comfortable than for herself to be comfortable. There was a moment when I saw Park Bo Young and felt she one-upped Da Eun.

Actor Yeon Woo Jin added that Park Bo Young was just like her character, Jung Da Eun, and shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes about what the sweet actress did for the staff while filming.
I think Park Bo Young was the essence of Jung Da Eun. While shooting, we spent the holidays and Christmas together. She became Santa Claus for us, cooked food for us on holidays, and prepared gifts by hand, giving us a lot of healing.
