Air Jordan 3 “Wizard” Dropping This Weekend

Made to OG ’88 spec, the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” — officially dubbed the “True Blue and Copper” — ushers back a well-known Player Exclusive from the silhouette’s history, one made for MJ during his brief stint with the Washington Wizards. And after several teasers, official images of the April-bound colorway have finally surfaced.

The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” was originally crafted for his Airness back in 2001, it’s design a direct homage to the colors signature to the Washington basketball team from 1997 to 2007. And though distinct in certain respects — such as the “Metallic Copper” detailing along the eyelets and Jumpman logo — many have likened the pair to the “True Blue” 3s. And this comparison is not without merit, as the 2023 Retro does bear an uncanny resemblance to the OG offering. Alongside incorporating the same cool tone, the colorway features a white tumbled leather construction and the iconic Elephant Print.

Affixed with a Jumpman Air logo along its heel, the Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is expected to release on April 29th at a retail of $210 USD. For more details, a store list, and official images, look ahead.
