Rep. Thomas Massie has found himself in the crosshairs of President Donald Trump’s ire, specifically for not falling in line with the administration’s aims. The outgoing Republican Party congressman once more took aim at alleged co-conspirators in the exploits of late financier Jeffrey Epstein and demanding transparency regarding his dealings.
Rep. Thomas Massie has been one of the more vocal members of his party to demand answers about the so-called Epstein Files, which contain millions of documents related to the financier’s dealings and related information.
While on the House floor on Monday, Massie read off the names of several individuals reportedly connected to Epstein and have all denied any wrongdoing.
“On the House floor tonight, I read the names of several Epstein coconspirators who should be investigated and prosecuted,” Massie shared in a post on X featuring a video of him reading off the names.
He added, “I also began collecting 218 signatures for the discharge petition to force a vote on Epstein Files Transparency Act II.”
The names included Jes Staley, Leon Black, Les Wexner, David Copperfield, Lapo Elkann, Tom Pritzker, and more. As noted, this is the second time Massie has demanded a new inquiry into the Epstein Files, doing so alongside Democratic Party congressman Rep. Ro Khanna back in February.
The Justice Department has previously stated it will no longer pursue the Epstein Files matter and will not release further material.
