Internet Money has released its new album we all we needed via Internet Money/Mercury Records. Led by founder and CEO Taz Taylor, the 20-track project brings together BabyBartier, Sir Untre, Unitus, and Lade as the featured voices across the record. The release is accompanied by an official music video for “Flexed Up.” The album is Internet Money’s latest full-length release as both a producer collective and label.
Internet Money’s production serves as the foundation of we all we needed, with Taylor describing the project as an expression of confidence in the group before wider recognition arrives. He said Internet Money has not waited for permission or for its choices to make sense to others, and pushed back on efforts to place his work in a fixed category. “I only work on what I believe in, and I make the music I want to hear with the artists I want to hear it from,” Taylor said. He called the album a continuation of that approach. The we all we needed rollout has included “556,” “Monster,” “Helly,” “Flexed Up,” and “Mojo,” all released ahead of the full project.
The album arrives on the anniversary of “Lemonade,” Internet Money’s breakout single featuring Gunna, Don Toliver, and NAV. The timing connects the collective’s current release to its breakout record while shifting attention toward a newer group of artists.
Internet Money has collaborated with Juice WRLD, Lil Tecca, Don Toliver, NAV, Trippie Redd, and The Kid LAROI during its growth from a producer collective into a label and artist-development platform.
