Jacob Alon has released Live From The Roundhouse, a new live album recorded during the Scottish folk musician’s April headline show at The Roundhouse in London. The concert is now available to revisit as an audio release, with the album streaming in full. A limited-edition double-vinyl version is also available to pre-order ahead of its September 11 release.
The performance was captured on 16mm film by Peter Eason Daniels, creating a visual counterpart to the live recording. The concert film is now available to watch, while the physical edition incorporates material from the shoot itself. Each double-vinyl package includes a unique strip of 16mm film taken from the Roundhouse performance, along with a signed print.
Live From The Roundhouse presents material from Alon’s debut album, In Limerence, in a live setting. The April concert took place almost a year after the debut album’s release. Alon will continue their live schedule in October with their first headline tour of North America, marking their first run of headline dates in the region. They are then due back in London on November 4 for a headline appearance at Pitchfork Festival.
The live release follows several career milestones across 2025 and 2026. In Limerence was shortlisted for both the 2025 Mercury Prize and the Scottish Album of the Year award, while Alon was also named BBC Introducing Artist of the Year and received Rolling Stone UK’s Play Next Award. In March 2026, Alon won the BRITs Critics’ Choice award after being selected for the honor by music critics. Earlier this spring, they received two Ivor Novello Awards, adding songwriting recognition to the honors surrounding their debut album.
