The group that never seems to rest since the release of ARIRANG is, of course, BTS. The seven members who are in the middle of their world tour just wrapped up their European leg with two dates in Paris, concluding on Saturday evening.
They took to the stage to perform their hit “Dynamite” during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final Halftime Show at New York New Jersey Stadium, produced by Global Citizen, the world’s largest movement to end extreme poverty.
Currently one of the most significant global sporting events, as one of the co-headliners, BTS delivered an energetic, colourful performance, even changing the lyrics to suit the occasion. With only a short segment they shone and made their time count. Choosing to perform “Dynamite” made sense, a song that unified many during the COVID pandemic.

BTS made a spectacular entrance onto a vibrantly designed stage centred around the Earth Ball, a globe-inspired installation adorned with colourful illustrations and uplifting words such as ‘Music’, ‘Love’, and ‘Thrive’, symbolising peace, hope, and global unity. Dressed in sporty attire, the seven members commanded the stage with unparalleled stage mastery.
Joining a line-up of well-known musicians during the halftime show, such as Coldplay and other co-headliners, for a performance of “We Dance”, written by Coldplay for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The finale performance opened with Coldplay alongside characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets and the PS22 Chorus, composed of students from Public School 22 in Staten Island, New York. BTS then joined them to thunderous cheers alongside Justin Bieber and Shakira for a mesmerising all-star finale. BTS delivered one of the standout moments of the celebration, joining fellow global icons in a memorable finale to the first-ever FIFA World Cup™ Final Halftime Show.
The second leg of the ARIRANG tour continues in North America in two weeks, and alongside that the group released the music video for “Normal”. A video exploring their reality within a world constantly watching, laden with Easter eggs from past music videos. Once again, always tying their past to not just the future but the current status.
