Kep1er has returned with the 8th Mini Album “CRACK CODE” on March 31.
Kep1er is a girl group formed through the 2022 survival show Girls Planet 999, who quickly built a devoted fanbase with an energetic debut and a run of catchy hits like ‘WA DA DA,’ ‘Up!,’ ‘Giddy,’ and ‘Shooting Star.’ Their music became known for its addictive melodies and a sense of warmth and familiarity that resonated deeply with listeners.
In August 2025, the group signaled a bold reinvention with their seventh mini-album ‘BUBBLE GUM,’ dramatically shifting their image while keeping their core identity intact. The title track showcased a new, bubbly charm — bouncy rhythms, witty lyrics, and strong vocal performances — earning them recognition as a fresh new paradigm for K-pop girl groups.
Now in March 2026, Kep1er is pushing their artistry even further with their eighth mini-album, “CRACK CODE,” led by the title track ‘KILLA (Face the other me).’ The song is an electronic hip-hop track blending intense synths and trap-style drums, representing the most powerful and distinct sonic direction the group has taken yet. It centers on the idea of confronting one’s hidden alter ego and breaking free from self-imposed limitations.
Thematically, “CRACK CODE” frames this inner awakening as a precise, ripple-like process of shattering suppressed selves and emerging transformed. As Kep1er enters their fifth year since debut, the album serves as both a creative milestone and a declaration of reinvention — aimed squarely at the restless depths of their listeners’ inner lives.
