Ahead of his full-length debut album, Kevin Moon greets fans first with the four-track single album “FREECHILD.” This album serves as a diary-like work capturing his honest and vulnerable emotions as he stands on the brink of a new beginning; through it, he poses a question to listeners: “Would your childhood self be proud of who you are today?”
“FREECHILD” is a pop-rock anthem that depicts a journey toward rediscovering one’s inner child and resisting established molds.
“MANIFESTO” is a pop-punk track influenced by DNCE; it signals the start of his solo career and embodies a declaration to move forward confidently as his authentic self.
Composed by Kevin Moon ‘FOCUS ON ME’ is a ballad that blends a LAUV-esque sensibility with gospel nuances, telling the story of shifting one’s focus inward to oneself after nearly a decade of living according to the standards of others. Two versions of the song are available.
