Having passed through the gateway of their 1st EP, “the a(e)nd”, the group arrives in a strange yet captivating new world. “~ of the world ~” is an album that explores the love experienced by the girls within this new realm, drawing parallels between their emotions and the natural phenomena and physical laws that govern the universe.
Rooted in the J-R&B and J-Hip-hop sounds of the 90s and early 2000s, the album seamlessly blends elements of House, J-Urban, and futuristic sonics to craft a unique aesthetic—distinctively “cosmosy”—that bridges the past and the present.
While the five “devices” (the “PRISM INVADERS”)—which sought to govern love through rational laws—ultimately fail, the journey of the girls who willingly choose to embrace their “errors” proves to be both poignant and beautiful. It is their most dazzling gambit—a bold challenge cast out into the world, fueled by an unwavering belief in miracles even in the face of the impossible.
The EP has 7 tracks, including the previously released Physics ~ 物理的な ~, a Japanese and Korean version of Chance ~ switch on, Silence ~ body & soul, ~ ‘Patience ~ 오직 너와 ~, ‘‘Paradise ~ I need you ~,’ and finally ‘Outro ~ of the world ~.’ all expressing different sides of the PRISM INVADERS.
