Heated Rivalry is one of the most talked about shows in the world right now, but what songs are on the soundtrack? Find out below.
The Canadian queer sports romance premiered on November 28 in the US, and it is now airing in the UK on Sky and NOW TV, with the first two episodes having premiered on January 10 and the full six-episode run streaming now.
It is created, written and directed by Jacob Tierney, previously known for the sitcom Letterkenny, and is based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers series of novels.
It follows two rival professional ice hockey players, Canadian Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Russian Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), whose on-ice animosity conceals a passionate, secret romance.

The show has been a breakout hit, earning widespread critical acclaim, sitting on a 99 per cent critics rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. It initially aired on the Canadian streaming service Crave, before being picked up by HBO, and it quickly became HBO Max’s top debut for an acquired, non-animated titled since the platform launched in 2019. It has already been renewed for a second season.
