READ MORE: These are Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks’ favourite movies, according to Kyle MacLachlan
Originally released on Blu-ray in 2019, Twin Peaks: From Z To A was limited to just 25,000 copies worldwide. It contained all three seasons of Twin Peaks, including the 2017 reboot series Twin Peaks: The Return, and the 1992 film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
It also featured 27 hours of bonus features from across all three seasons, consisting of cast and crew interviews, documentaries, deleted scenes and more.

This new re-release is an updated version of the classic collection, with new packaging, plus all of the episodes in high definition, and 4K transfers of the original series pilot and Part 8 of the limited event series.
Twin Peaks stars Kyle MacLachlan as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper, who arrives at the titular town to investigate the murder of a teenage girl called Laura Palmer (played by Sheryl Lee). It was created by Mark Frost and David Lynch, who also directed the majority of episodes and the film.
It’s widely considered as one of the best TV shows (and best horror TV series) ever – and according to Reddit users, one of the “weirdest”.

It also made NME’s list of the best TV soundtracks ever. As written in 2024, “the haunting and beautiful score for David Lynch’s ’90s cult phenomenon Twin Peaks was created by his long-time collaborator, composer Angelo Badalamenti. Not only does it perfectly compliment the beguiling and nightmarish tone of the show, it also stands alone as a masterful piece of music.”
Sky Ferreira recently shared her experience working with Lynch on Twin Peaks: The Return. She said: “I feel like everyone that works with him feels very connected to him and inspired by him. I’ve noticed that anytime anyone talks about working with him. It’s such a special, once in a lifetime experience, and it was literally my dream, and I couldn’t believe that I was in Twin Peaks, it was such a big deal for me.”
Twin Peaks: From Z To A will be released on February 3.
