Pop star and international beauty queen Angela has released a video for her autumn hit “Rose” (‘Троянда’). The visualization of this new female anthem portrays a modern woman making tough yet important decisions for her own happiness.

“Rose” is a song story that resonates with every woman. I sing about a situation where you move from love to self-defense, protecting yourself and your feelings from a manipulative partner. That’s why I sing about the rose—a beautiful flower that had to grow thorns for its own safety,” the artist explained.
The single “Rose” marks another success for Angela, who has conquered Ukrainian radio with hits like “Your Eyes,” “In Original,” “Let Go,” “Fell in Love,” “Don’t Hurt Me,” and others. This track stands out by reflecting a specific emotion of a woman who made the painful decision to part with her lover and now wants to heal and let go of the past.
“Although it’s a dance track, I didn’t want to shoot the video in a club. I wanted to tell the story of one of my friends, who after a breakup symbolically buried her love, saying goodbye to it in an old tradition—by throwing flowers, specifically a rose in our case, into the water. It’s a beautiful way to let go of love but also to thank it for being part of your life,” the star shared.
