Noah Kahan and his mental health nonprofit The Busyhead Project will bring the second annual Folk & Fairways Benefit Concert & Golf Tournament to Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont, on September 14 and 15. The two-day event will pair an intimate acoustic performance by Kahan with a golf tournament and guest experiences. Proceeds will support The Busyhead Project’s work with local, community-based mental health organizations to expand access to mental health care. The event centers on four areas highlighted by Kahan and the organization: music, golf, mental health advocacy, and giving back to his home state of Vermont.
Folk & Fairways will include 36 holes across The Mountain Course at Spruce Peak and the newly transformed Stowe Country Club. A limited number of General Admission and VIP tickets will be made available through a public lottery, with registration open through August 14 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Random selection is scheduled to begin August 17 at 3 p.m. EST. Registration is open now for the lottery.
The Lodge at Spruce Peak will serve as the official host hotel, with rooms available to reserve separately from the public ticket lottery and subject to availability. Folk & Fairways will also introduce a limited number of Friends & Group Lodging + Ticket Packages this year. The packages pair select Spruce Peak residences with guaranteed General Admission access, including two tickets per bedroom. The inaugural Folk & Fairways in 2025 raised more than $1 million for The Busyhead Project and welcomed guests from across the country. The lodging packages are one of the limited ways guests can secure guaranteed admission while directly supporting the nonprofit.
The two-time GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum artist launched The Busyhead Project in 2023, and Kahan and the nonprofit have since raised nearly $7 million toward their mental health mission. The Busyhead Project works through benefit concerts and events, community partnerships, educational programming, workshops and classes, merchandise, and grassroots initiatives with local organizations in communities around the world.
