VAYONN Makes Refreshing Debut with EP Album “Youth Today”

Rookie boy group VAYONN has officially debuted on July 6 with their 1st EP, “Youth Today.”

VAYONN—a name embodying the ambition to amplify the spirit of youth through their voices and write a new narrative—is a six-member rookie boy group from iNKODE. The group consists of Sen, Masato, Ayang, and Jinyu, whose performance skills and talent were recognized by global fans during audition programs, such as Boys II Planet an Starlight Boys alongside Teru and Mano, who bring exceptional vocal ability and diverse charms to the team.

The vision of youth that VAYONN portrays is something special. Beyond merely evoking nostalgia, they capture the realistic youth found in individual lives as well as the ideal worlds that lie beyond them.

They aim to convey the message that the day given to anyone is, in itself, youth—a special moment in its own right. VAYONN aspires to establish themselves as a team that brings a pleasant feeling just by being remembered—much like finding shade in the sweltering heat of summer or basking in the sunlight during the cold of winter.

Despite differences in language, appearance, and personal taste, we are all part of youth. Yet, the “weather” of youth may feel different for each of us—just as the weather where you are reading this might differ from the weather we are experiencing as we write it.

The title track ‘MUAH!’ is a teen dance-pop song defined by refreshing synth sounds, upbeat drums that evoke a sense of excitement, an easy-to-sing, catchy melody, and a signature “MUAH!” sound. It portrays even the scorching summer sun as a signal of love and the thrill of youth, expressing feelings of excitement through bright, refreshing energy.

The album also features ‘Super Lucky Song,’ which compares the excitement of new beginnings and youth to a pleasant, lucky day; ‘Got It,’ evoking the clear sky revealed after running through a refreshing downpour; the pre-released ‘Watta Day,’ an energetic track that boldly faces even rough winds; and the final track, ‘Where My Youth Lives,’ which feels like a conversation shared while watching the summer rain fall. “Youth Today” brings together songs that resonate with the various “weathers” of youth—past, present, and future—experienced by everyone.
