Raiden Becomes First Korean DJ to Perform at BST Hyde Park in London

 

Producer and DJ Raiden has made history as the first Korean DJ to perform at the prestigious British Summer Time Hyde Park (BST Hyde Park) festival in London. This milestone marks another significant achievement in his global career and highlights the rising international prominence of Korean EDM on the world’s foremost festival stages.

BST Hyde Park is celebrated as one of the United Kingdom’s largest annual summer music festivals, attracting tens of thousands of attendees each year and featuring major global artists such as Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder, Sabrina Carpenter, Elton John, Guns N’ Roses, SZA, Kylie Minogue, Lana Del Rey, Olivia Rodrigo, Pitbull, and more. 

On June 28, Raiden took the stage to present his dynamic blend of EDM and K-pop, introducing this innovative fusion to European audiences. His inclusion in the festival lineup showcases the increasing recognition and appreciation of Korean artists and DJs at prominent international music events.

Throughout his career, Raiden has performed at renowned international festivals including Ultra Music Festival Miami, Ultra Europe, and Tomorrowland Belgium. Notably, he represented Korea at the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.


Over the years, Raiden has expanded his influence within the global EDM scene, gaining acclaim from world-famous DJs such as Martin Garrix and David Guetta. He has established his signature sound through collaborations with artists across multiple genres.

Raiden has worked with a diverse range of artists, including NCT, ATEEZ, i-dle’s Miyeon, Red Velvet’s IRENE, EXO’s Chanyeol and Baekhyun, Lee Hi, Changmo, THE BOYZ, and League of Legends world champions T1. His production credits include “Yours,” the T1 ensemble anthem “RUNNER,” and THE BOYZ’s “Last Man Standing.” His collaboration with ATEEZ began with the electrifying track “ROAR (Raiden Hard Techno Ver.),” featured on MINGI’s solo project.

Raiden’s performance at BST Hyde Park adds another landmark achievement to his career. As the first Korean DJ to take the stage at the festival, his participation reflects the growing global visibility of K-EDM and its integration alongside internationally recognized artists.
