The official flagship attraction will be open to guests from August, and includes a traditional themed pub and actor-led encounters, all based on the hit BBC series created by Steven Knight.
Set within historic railway arches close to London Bridge Station, ‘Peaky Blinders Underworld’ looks to transport visitors to the underworld of Thomas Shelby and the infamous gang, offering settings inspired by sets on the show, as well as interactive gameplay, live entertainment and actor-led encounters.
Entry comes through the faithfully recreated Garrison Tavern, post WWI pub, which will be free for guests to visit. Here there will be food and drink on offer, as well as live music.

From there, there is the ticketed area, which is organised and run by KMJ Entertainment in partnership with Banijay Rights, and blends interactive gameplay with actor-led encounters to bring the notorious world of the Shelby family to life.
Along the way, guests will be given gameplay and hands-on challenges to see if they have what it takes to join the syndicate and become part of the Peaky Blinders.
Different environments recreated for the immersive experience include Garrison Lane, The Bookies, Chinatown and The Small Heath Fairground.

“Peaky Blinders Underworld is not just a recreation of the Shelby family’s world, but a much wider destination,” said Knight. “This venue gives fans the opportunity to socially engage with their beloved series through a completely new prism, while those less familiar with the show will find plenty to love about it too.”
As well as the main experience, The Garrison Tavern space will also host various special late-night performances, live music and themed events, and there will be a range of exclusive official merchandise on offer too.

Debuting in 2013, Peaky Blinders was loosely based on a real life gang in Birmingham. Run by the Shelby family, and led by Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy), it saw them gain power and influence far beyond their city in the years after World War One, while also battling their personal demons.
The original show ran for six series, putting the city of Birmingham in the global spotlight and making Tommy Shelby a cultural icon.

There is a new season on the way, which will follow a new generation of the Peaky Blinders – and two advanced looks at the show have been revealed, one showing Charlie Heaton as Charles Shelby, and another showing Jamie Bell as Duke Shelby.
According to a press release, the “new era” of the hit BBC and Netflix show will tell the story of “the race to rebuild Birmingham” after the Second World War. “This is a city of unprecedented opportunity and jeopardy,” it teases. “At its blood-soaked heart is Duke Shelby: older, wiser, more ambitious and most certainly more dangerous.”
Duke Shelby was played by Barry Keoghan in the Netflix spinoff film, The Immortal Man, which picked up the story after the conclusion of the show’s sixth and final season, and featured a soundtrack with the likes of Fontaines D.C.’s Grian Chatten, Amy Taylor of Amyl & The Sniffers, Nick Cave and Lankum.
In a three-star review of the film, NME wrote: “Perhaps it’s not as emotional as you might hope but this sombre final chapter of Peaky Blinders still wraps things up as tightly as a burial shroud. And for that, we doff our razor-lined caps.”
