BET Awards 2026: check out the full winners list and see all the performances

The winners of the 2026 BET Awards have been announced, with Teyana Taylor, Kehlani and Kendrick Lamar among the big winners on the night.

The ceremony, which celebrates excellence across the full entertainment industry – including music, film and sports – was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles last night (Sunday June 28).

Hosted by Druski, it was Teyana Taylor and Clipse who won the most trophies on the night, winning in three categories each, followed by Kendrick Lamar and Kehlani who each won two awards.

Taylor won Best Actress for her role in One Battle After Another, as well as Video Director of the Year and the new Fashion Vanguard Award, while Clipse won Album of the Year, Best Group and Best Collaboration for the Kendrick Lamar-starring track ‘Chains & Whips’.

Other winners included Kehlani who won Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Olivia Dean who won Best New Artist, Cardi B taking home Best female Hip-Hop Artist, Leon Thomas getting Best male R&B/Pop Artist for the first time, and Michael B. Jordan, who won an Oscar for best lead actor for Sinners.

Special awards on the night included Ms. Lauryn Hill getting the Living Legend Icon Award, music executive Sylvia Rhone getting the Ultimate Icon Award, and Teyana Taylor nabbing the Icon of the Year award.

Performances on the night came from Don Toliver who played ‘E-85’ and ‘Body’, Tems who played ‘What You Need’, Baby Keem who broke out ‘Circus Circus Freestyle’ and ‘Dramatic Girl’, and French Montana, Max B and Rick Ross who played ‘Ever You Since You Left Me’ and ‘Minks’.

RAYE played at the BET awards for the first time playing ‘Nightingale Lane’, Cardi B rattled through a medley of ‘Errtime’, ‘Hello’, ‘Check Please’ and ‘Petty AF’, T.I broke out ‘Top Back’ and ‘Let Em Know’, and Kehlani and Jamie Foxx broke out ‘Folded’.

The Vanguard, Ari Lennox, RAYE, George Clinton, Durand Bernarr and BJ The Chicago Kid all paid tribute to late soul icon D’Angelo, and huge names Nas, Doja Cat, SZA, Doechii, Tems, Tierra Whack, Lizzo, Queen Latifa, Rapsody, Common and more all celebrated Ms. Lauryn Hill.

The most nominated artists without a win on the night included Doja Cat and Latto, who each had four nominations, and A$AP Rocky and Bruno Mars, who were each up for three awards.

Winners at the 2025 edition of the BET Awards included Cynthia Erivo, Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, Ayra Starr, GloRilla and Denzel Washington.
