Matthew Rhys plays a town mayor dealing with an inexplicable curse in Widow’s Bay.

Created by Katie Dippold, the comedy horror series follows Mayor Tom Loftis who wants to bring new life to the struggling island town community of Widow’s Bay. However, his strive for tourism faces some hurdles thanks to a mysterious curse.

Along with Rhys, the show’s cast includes Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Root, Kingston Rumi Southwick, Kevin Carroll and Dale Dickey.

The first two episodes of Widow’s Bay were released April 29, 2026 on Apple TV, with the remaining eight episodes set to air weekly.
