82MAJOR is back with their latest EP “FEELM“ on April 28. “FEELM”— a title that blends the words “Feel” and “Film” captures the range of emotional moments as though they were scenes unfolding on a single reel.
“FEELM” arrives as a cohesive statement from 82MAJOR. The album spans five tracks, each offering a distinct sonic and emotional landscape that together showcase the group’s expanding artistry. The tracks move through confidence, longing, confusion, and ultimately liberation, all captured like frames in a film.
W.T.F
The EP opens with a bold statement of self-assurance. Starting with a jazz-inflected intro before flipping into a heavy, intense beat, “W.T.F” highlights 82MAJOR’s unpredictable musicality. Loaded with charged words like “pressure,” “friction,” and “jealous,” the track builds tension only to answer it with a defiant “So what?” — a declaration that no matter what others say, 82MAJOR will press forward on their own terms.
Sign
A showcase of the group’s more mature side, “Sign” layers a dreamy melody over a restrained beat. Built around the concept of a signal that passes only between two people, the song traces the delicate exchange of emotions and the gradual closening of two individuals. The onomatopoeic hook “tiki taki tak” captures the nerve-wracking, addictive back-and-forth of new feelings, leaving a strong impression of a side of 82MAJOR audiences may not have seen before.
CAGE
Venturing into Baile Funk territory, “CAGE” contrasts an energetic beat with lyrical, heartfelt melodies. The song speaks to an overwhelming longing — describing a state of being locked in a cage, unable to breathe without someone just out of reach. The genre choice gives the track a kinetic, danceable energy that makes its emotional weight hit all the harder.
CIRCLES
Opening with a drum beat that gradually gives way to a heavy bassline, “CIRCLES” maps the confused, recurring loop of unresolved feelings. The song explores the paradox of a relationship with no clear beginning or end — one that keeps pulling you back to the same place no matter how far you try to move. It’s one of the more introspective moments on the EP, rendered with careful emotional nuance.
YESSIR!
The EP closes on a liberating note. Originally previewed as “네네 선생님” at 82MAJOR’s fifth concert <비범 : BE 범>, the track has been rearranged into a house-based dance number that weaves in retro samples reminiscent of Korean dance music from the 1990s and 2000s, reinterpreted through a modern lens. Thematically, it’s about leaving the past behind — old relationships, old emotions — and returning fully to oneself. Acting as the album’s closing credits, “YESSIR!” delivers 82MAJOR’s core message: no matter what anyone says, they’ll keep moving forward as themselves.
