The much-anticipated Michael Jackson biopic Michael is in cinemas now, but what songs feature? Find the full list below.

The film comes from director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) and writer John Logan (Gladiator, Skyfall) and it follows the life of the King of Pop, from his early days in the Jackson 5 in the ‘60s to the height of his global-conquering run in the ‘80s.
Jackson is portrayed by his real-life nephew Jaafar Jackson in his movie debut, and the supporting cast includes Colman Domingo as his father Joseph, Nia Long as mother Katherine and Miles Teller as John Branca, his manager, who is also a producer on the film.

The film ends during the success of the ‘Bad’ album, which was reportedly not the original plan. According to Variety, much of the third act originally focused on the sexual assault charges made against Jackson during his lifetime.
In 1993, Evan Chandler, a dentist and screenwriter, accused the singer of sexually abusing his 13-year-old son Jordan, which he denied. The case was concluded when the two parties reached a financial settlement in 1994. In 2013, four years after Jackson’s death, choreographer Wade Robson filed a lawsuit against his estate, claiming Jackson had sexually abused him between the ages of seven and 14. Former child actor James Safechuck also came forward with allegations.
Jackson’s estate has continuously denied all allegations of sexual abuse made against him.
The film was due to cover the accusations from Jackson’s point of view until production discovered late in shooting a clause in the Chandler settlement that prevented them from portraying the child on film. A reshoot ensued, costing a reported $15million, which the Jackson estate is said to have covered themselves.

The film includes an original score from the composer Lior Rosner, known for X-Men: Days Of Future Past and Valkyrie, but as it has been made in collaboration with the Jackson estate, it is also packed full of the biggest and best-known songs from Jackson’s career.
