WEST.’s 12th full-length album for their 12th debut anniversary (April 23rd) is truly “Yuiitsu-Muni!”(English translation: “Unique and Unparalleled”)
Whether they’re singing, dancing, or making others laugh, WEST. continues their endless journey in pursuit of being truly “unique and unparalleled.” And this time, they’ve brought forth a heartfelt masterpiece that perfectly captures their group evolution and personal drive.
The lead track “Kore de Iinoda!” (English: “It’s fine just like this!) was written and composed by none other than group center Daiki Shigeoka and has a cheerfully upbeat and inspiring message with an easy-to-follow hook that’s already been a hit with Japanese fans on TikTok.
Additionally, “Odoru shika nai jyan!” (English: “You’ve just got to dance!”) written by Lucky Kilimanjaro’s Yukimaru Kumaki for WEST.’s first self-produced outdoor music festival “WESSION FESTIVAL 2025” in October of last year, as well as “Niji o kakeru bokura” (English: “We who make a rainbow”) written by Saucy Dog’s Shinya Ishihara, bring new collaborative brilliance to WEST.’s already stellar repertoire.
