The American-Italian DJ and producer was playing a set on the festival’s main stage after headliner Sabrina Carpenter on Friday night (April 17) when the unannounced collaboration went down.
With Anyma behind the decks, Bellamy sang an unreleased track that fans believe is titled ‘Carrier Of Souls’, set for possible inclusion in Anyma’s next studio album.
The song opened with Bellamy singing over moody atmospherics, before the track erupted into a huge prog-techno production. “Breath was warming, a frozen silent field / Your touch grows cold, the pain may never heal / A storm is building, where faithless lovers cry / Your hand slipped free, before you said goodbye,” Bellamy sang.

It comes a week after Anyma’s set at the first weekend of Coachella was called off at the last minute due to severe weather conditions. “Due to strong wind conditions affecting Anyma’s stage build, he is unable to perform,” a statement released 15 minutes ahead of his performance read.
Last year, NME sat down with Anyma to discuss his Coachella debut. “It’s basically a whole new world that I’m in the process of building right now,” he explained at the time. “You can expect some new characters, new songs and different perspectives on the storytelling. I want to move forward. I want to carry on with the core of what I do, but also push things a little further.”
“The whole project is meant to [evoke] emotions from people and create community that maybe, at a later date, helps push things forward without me,” he added. “The more exposure, the more people resonate with it, the better.”
Muse, meanwhile, are preparing to release their 10th album ‘The Wow! Signal’ on June 26, and they have shared the new single ‘Be With You’. They also debuted a number of songs from the record at an intimate show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton earlier this month.
The band will be playing a North American tour, which will kick off in Milwaukee on July 2, with support from Bloc Party, Portugal, the Man and The Temper Trap. See all the dates here and find any remaining tickets here.
