Actor and comedian Sudeikis co-founded the annual event with drummer Billy Brimblecom in 2017. The latter lost his left leg to a rare form of cancer in 2005, as Spin notes.
Flavor Flav was joined on the line-up by Sudeikis himself, “Weird Al” Yankovic and more at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to Setlist.FM, the Public Enemy co-founder played two of the hip-hop group’s classic tracks on the night: ‘Bring The Noise’ (1987) and ‘911 Is A Joke’ (1990).
For the first song, Flavor Flav invited Sudeikis to perform alongside him and his live band. He has since shared fan-shot footage of the collaboration, writing: “FLAVOR FLAV::: TURN IT UP, cuz we BROUGHT THE NOISE!!!
“WOOWWW, Jason Sudeikis got down like that and was absolutely incredible!! #ThunderGong can Bring the Noise.”
Steps Of Faith has also posted a professionally shot video of the team-up on YouTube. Check out the clips here:

TMZ has reported that this year’s edition of Thundergong! raised over $820,000 (£640,000) for Steps Of Faith.
Elsewhere, Flavor Flav gave a performance of Backstreet Boys‘ 1999 hit single ‘I Want It That Way’ as part of the fundraiser.
