Recently, the movie The Roundup: Punishment was released in theaters and garnered much attention from fans of the series. However, during a stage greeting scheduled in Hongdae, the cast members got stuck in the elevator, causing the greeting portion to be canceled. I was a victim of this stage greeting, and what made me more angry than not seeing the actors was the attitude of the CGV theater officials. They didn’t explain properly and had us wait for over 15 minutes, only to reimburse us with a 2D movie ticket coupon before sending us home. We didn’t receive a proper apology, and they even joked that the elevator couldn’t move because actor Ma Dong Seok was heavy.
They felt that the theater is responsible for the actors getting stuck in the elevator and that they needed to resolve the situation in a better manner.

Isn’t it CGV’s fault that the actors got stuck in the elevator yesterday? How can they ignore the audience and hand out movie tickets? I’ve gone to the theaters countless times to watch this movie, but do you really think we come just to watch the movie? So ridiculous…

How many people do you think went there just to watch the movie? Of course, the actor’s safety comes first, but we were compensated with a general admission ticket…I don’t know about this.
