Catfish & The Bottlemen have announced details of a huge upcoming show in Ireland, set to take place at RSD Simmonscourt in Dublin – find ticket details below.

Announced today (May 7), the news of the new date marks the latest in what’s shaping up to be an epic summer of performances for the BRIT-Award-winning indie group, who have been announcing live shows and festival appearances over recent months.
The Van McCann-fronted band returned with the single ‘Showtime’ earlier this year, marking their first new music in five years. The track will feature on Catfish’s yet-to-be-announced fourth album, which will follow 2019’s ‘The Balance’.
Now, the band have dropped the news that they will be performing at RSD Simmonscourt in Dublin later this summer – marking their first performance in Ireland since 2019.

The announcement of the Dublin show follows the news of Catfish and the Bottlemen selling out their biggest show to date, which will take place at Liverpool’s 32,000-capacity Sefton Park.
As well as the Liverpool show, the group dropped the news of three huge open-air shows in Cardiff and Edinburgh, and were confirmed as headlining Reading & Leeds Festival’s mainstage for the second time this summer. You can visit here for remaining tickets to all their upcoming shows.
“Van McCann is back where he’s meant to be: headlining festivals, finishing a brand new album, and beginning a dynamic, exciting new era for Catfish and the Bottlemen,” read a new statement.
Alongside teasing their first new music in five years, Catfish recently released a pre-order of ‘Showtime’ on a white 7″ vinyl pressing along with new merchandise.
The band have not played a show together since 2021, following their headline slots at Reading & Leeds and a pair of outdoor gigs at Singleton Park in Swansea and Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington.
In a three-star review of their 2021 Reading Festival set, NME wrote: “‘One of our longshots paid off,’ sings frontman Van McCann on opener ‘Longshot’ from 2019’s ‘The Balance’ – a heartening notion for most bands who dream of headlining the hallowed stage of Reading. As he later pines on 2016’s ‘Soundcheck’ from ‘The Ride’: ‘Because you grew up in a small town / You’ll appreciate it more’.”
The upcoming gigs will also mark the band’s first since the departure of guitarist Johnny “Bondy” Bond.
