During his second week of promotions, he was nominated for music show wins and took home his first-ever solo win on Show Champion.

Doyoung was also nominated for first place on the May 4th episode of Show! MusicCore, competing against popular trot singer Lee Chanwon and controversial girlband QWER. Ultimately, Lee Chanwon won first place with less than 250 points between him and Doyoung.

Following the show, another artist’s reaction to the music show award ceremony has gained attention!

SEVENTEEN recently returned with “Maestro,” and are in their first week of promotions. The group also performed on MusicCore and were on stage for the award presentation.

Doyoung is close with many of the members of SEVENTEEN, who, according to fans who attended the MusicCore recording, joined the NCT member on stage for his performance. SEVENTEEN have also shared plenty of interactions with Doyoung as they’ve promoted simultaneously this week.
