Upcoming Festival’s Lineup Becomes A Hot Topic — A “Reunion” Of Ex-SM Entertainment Idols

SM Entertainment is known for its annual concert, bringing many of the idols together: SMTOWN!

What if there was a festival with artists that have all left SM Entertainment? Well, there is one, unofficially.

The announcement for the BEER ROCK FESTIVAL in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was announced, and netizens noticed a trend in the Korean acts appearing… and it was that they had all left SM Entertainment. Of course, Jessica left many years ago after debuting in Girls’ Generation.

While they’re still under SM Entertainment for group activities, the likes of SHINee‘s Taemin and EXO‘s Chen and Xiumin left the company for their solo schedules.

The only star still fully signed with the company is Chanyeol.

While Jessica sadly isn’t on the same day as the other former (or current) SM Entertainment artists, netizens couldn’t get over the fact that so many idols or stars who used to be exclusively signed to the company were at one event.

Considering the number of idols who used to be at SM Entertainment being on the lineup, it’s not surprising that netizens found it hilarious.
