Gunna and Metro Boomin React to Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria”

On April 30, Kendrick Lamar released his highly anticipated diss track “Euphoria” aimed at fellow rapper Drake[1][2][3][4]. In the song, Lamar takes several shots at Drake, including referencing the Georgia rapper Gunna and his Alford plea deal in the Young Thug RICO case.

Specifically, Lamar raps, “We ain’t gotta get personal, this a friendly fade, you should keep it that way/ I know some st about ngas that make Gunna Wunna look like a saint.” This appears to be a direct jab at Gunna’s legal troubles.

In response, Gunna took to Twitter, simply writing “Man, WASSAM?!!” His tweet quickly gained traction, with over 10,000 retweets and 42,000 likes within three hours. Fans were divided in their reactions, with some advising Gunna to “mind ya business” while others saw it as more of a nod to his circumstances rather than a diss.

Lamar also referenced Gunna’s hit song “pushin P” in the lyrics, rapping “Yeah, f**k all that pushin’ P, let me see you push a T/ You better off spinnin’ again on him, you think about pushin’ me?”

Additionally, producer Metro Boomin, who collaborated with Lamar on the “Like That” track that took aim at Drake and J. Cole, also reacted to the “Euphoria” release. Metro shared laughing emojis in one tweet and a GIF of a man playing the drums, likely in reference to Drake’s “Push Ups” diss, where he told Metro to “shut your h** a** up and make some drums, n**ga.”

The release of “Euphoria” has reignited the long-standing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, with both artists taking shots at each other through their music.
