Madonna has brought out Salma Hayek as a special guest judge for the ‘Vogue’ portion of her concert in Mexico.

This past Friday (April 26), Madonna brought her career-spanning Celebration Tour to the Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. While the show was the penultimate gig of the tour, Madonna surprised fans with a massive guest in the form of actress Salma Hayek.
Throughout her Celebration tour, Madonna has typically brought out a special guest to judger her dancers’ best dance moves during ‘Vogue’. This time, Madonna was joined by Salma Hayek, who came out dressed as Frida Kahlo. Hayek had previously starred as Kahlo in the 2002 film Frida.
During Friday’s ‘Vogue’ performance, Madonna and Hayek judged Madonna’s dancers during an extended version of her hit song. Watch fan-shot footage below of Hayek joining Madonna onstage to deafening applause.

Following her appearance, Hayek took to social media to thank Madonna for the opportunity, writing: “Thank you so much @madonna for letting me be a part of your iconic celebration tour. This unforgettable night goes in my bag of precious treasures.”
Past guest judges during the ‘Vogue’ portion of Madonna’s ongoing tour include Cardi B, FKA Twigs, Diplo, Julia Fox, Julia Garner, Arca and more.
Madonna is set to conclude her massive tour on May 4 at Copacabana Beach in Rio De Janero, Brazil. The free show is shaping up to be Madonna’s biggest ever, as reports indicate that an estimated 2million fans are expected to show up for the concert.
In a five-star review of her performance at The O2 in London back in October, NME wrote: “On the opening night of her greatest hits tour Madge delivers the bangers in dazzling fashion, but it’s the emotional moments that make this show truly special.”
It continued: “The whole thing is a thrilling reminder that Madonna isn’t just a pop star, but also a cultural force who genuinely changed the world by chafing against what society expects from women in the public eye. That’s something worth celebrating in the dazzling, dynamic and at times slightly discombobulating way she presents it here. Really, you wouldn’t have her any other way.”
