On April 29, SEVENTEEN released their anticipated song “MAESTRO.”

Yet, netizens couldn’t hide their confusion when the music video was tweeted from the account at 6PM (KST).

Netizens noticed that, unlike most K-Pop releases, there was no premiere for the music video, and the tweet was just shared for CARATs to click.

damn,,, no yt premiere for maestro so everyone better check the mv immediately on yt as soon as it is released!

The fact that Maestro doesn’t have a YouTube premiere, tells me all that there is to know about Hybe. They are sabotaging Seventeen, there’s no other way to view this. Carats, in about 25mins, we need to all watch the MV together. Hybe can go fck itself.

If that wasn’t enough, netizens in Korea shared photos about the availability of physical albums. Prior to the album’s release, there were queues forming at the stores, but a fan shared a photo saying that a major store had no stock of the album and that they didn’t even know when they would have them.

When all the photos and information were shared by fans, netizens couldn’t hide their anger at HYBE and PLEDIS Entertainment‘s disorganization, with some even saying HYBE was “sabotaging” the group’s comeback.

when pledis said “directed by carats” they meant we’ll be the one to actually do everything pic.twitter.com/0KPDPe93Pd

I’m actually thinking now that someone is afraid that SEVENTEEN might surpass FML’s success now coz wdym there’s no premiere and the albums are not yet delivered to physical stores in sokor

hybe can buy the whole industry and media for their other groups but can’t give svt a yt premiere and properly stock the albums on the day of release? https://t.co/Wa21hpHQ4t

Yet, despite all the issues, CARATs couldn’t help but be proud of SEVENTEEN after their achievements for the new album were shared.

While SEVENTEEN is a veteran group with a loyal fanbase, netizens believe they deserve the same treatment and investment into their comeback as other groups.
