While most reactions from idols are kept to social media or in letters, Mijoo’s reaction, along with that of fellow stars, was caught on camera, as it happened during filming for MBC‘s Hangout With Yoo.
Four hours before the news was revealed, it showed the time difference between the filming and when it started to circulate around the media.

The cast was discussing the photos being shared, and Lee Jae Suk tried to be light-hearted about it all, joking about how “obvious” it was but trying to keep Mijoo positive.

As soon as Mijoo came out, while she had a smile on her face, Lee Jae Suk immediately asked her if she was okay. They also made a big deal about being nice to her to make her feel more at ease.

Lee Jae Suk then gave her some advice, saying that in a matter of days, it would all get better.

While idols and celebrities respond to the news, Mijoo is one of the rare occasions where her reaction to the news is documented. Although it could be overwhelming, Mijoo showcased her professionalism, and the rest of the cast ensured she was okay, imparting their decade’s worth of experience onto her.
