Introducing Flacco D: The Versatile Artist from Chicago, Illinois

Chicago, Illinois – Meet Flacco D, a talented artist hailing from the west side of Chicago. With his unique style and versatility, Flacco D prefers to be labeled simply as an artist. Unlike many in the industry, he refuses to conform to the gangsta image often associated with rap music. Flacco D believes in staying true to himself and encourages others to do the same.

“I’m not trying to portray a gangsta or a tough guy,” Flacco D explains. “I want to show people that you don’t always have to take that route. There’s nothing wrong with being yourself. It’s corny to try to be someone or something that you’re not.”

Flacco D’s journey into music began with the encouragement of his friend, Jabari. As a child, Flacco D even made Jabari sign a contract, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. Although he wrote raps and shared them with Jabari, it wasn’t until after high school that Flacco D decided to pursue a career in music seriously.

The young artist has already caught the attention of industry professionals, with renowned producer Mannie Fresh showing appreciation for some of Flacco D’s songs on Instagram. Additionally, Flacco D received a shoutout from Busta Rhymes on his EP “Why wait” and gained exposure when Busta Rhymes shared his music video for “Jumpstreet.”

Despite the initial support from industry figures, Flacco D admits that one of the challenges he faces is the lack of support from family and friends. This can often lead to self-doubt and questioning, but Flacco D remains focused and disciplined in his craft. He believes in staying grounded and neutral, regardless of the obstacles that come his way.

Looking towards the future, Flacco D hopes to inspire others through his hard work and consistency. He intends to expand his artistic endeavors by venturing into acting and creating his own clothing brand called “Luxurious Vibez” (short for “LXV”). Flacco D envisions leaving a lasting imprint on the culture and becoming a successful businessman through investments in tech ideas, rental properties, and flipping houses. He also expresses interest in ghostwriting for other artists and emphasizes his desire to never be confined to one box.

Currently, Flacco D is focused on his upcoming singles, “Stars in the Ceiling” and “All Week,” set to release in the next few weeks. Additionally, he has exciting plans for his clothing brand, with women’s crop tops and men’s oversized t-shirts dropping in the summer.
