XG has released their fourth single, “WINTER WITHOUT YOU,” today. Known for their Hip Hop and RnB musical influences, it’s no surprise even the group’s holiday single creates a warm and melodic Winter RnB feeling.

Carrying the emotions of being far away from loved ones during the cold winter season and reminiscing on old memories, “WINTER WITHOUT YOU” features electric keyboards and various vocal effects, contrasting XG’s typical musical style. With a different approach than their usual releases, this new single focuses instead on each member of the group’s individual personality, bringing the seven girls together for a harmonious and magical winter.

XG has made waves continuously since their debut, having proven their international popularity time and time again in 2023. They were one of the few Asian artists, and the only Japanese artist, selected by Rolling Stone on their 100 Best Songs of 2023 list, which also featured various K-pop songs such as Jung Kook (featuring Latto)’s “Seven,” aespa’s “Spicy,” Fifty Fifty’s “Cupid,” Jisoo’s “Flower,” V’s “Rainy Days,” TWICE’s “Moonlight Sunrise,” SEVENTEEN’s “Super,” and NewJeans’s “Super Shy.” Additionally, the group has been making their way through the international festival circuit, participating in several of 88rising’s Head in the Clouds stops around the world, and performing at this year’s KCON Los Angeles.

XG also recently announced their upcoming 2024 world tour, with more details regarding dates and locations to come.
