The Top 10 Korean Karaoke Songs Of 2023, According To Karaoke Company

With the year coming to an end, the leading karaoke company in Korea, TJ Media, announced the top songs sung in karaoke in 2023.

On December 8, TJ Media compiled the number of times each song was played in TJ Karaoke from January 1, 2023, to December 4, 2023, and released the Top 100 list.

Analyzing the overall TJ Karaoke year-end chart up to the top 100, it was revealed that, following last year, trot singer Lim Young Woong‘s song “Love Always Runs Away” was the only trot song to rank, showing his popularity.

Additionally, songs by 4th generation girl groups such as IVE and NewJeans were popular. Particularly, IVE’s “I AM,” which gained attention on social media with the high note challenge, was the most popular dance song.

Other songs like NewJeans’ “Ditto,” “Hype Boy,” and (G)I-DLE‘s “Queencard” also ranked high in the Top 100 list, receiving much love in karaoke.

“Let’s Say Goodbye” by Parc Jae Jung secured first place on the karaoke chart for 23 consecutive weeks from the end of June to the first week of December, marking the song that stayed at the top of the chart the longest on the “2023 TJ Karaoke Year-End Chart.”

TJ Media stated that the most popular songs sung in karaoke were ballads.

Looking at the songs that made it to this year’s year-end chart, ballads accounted for 48%, making it the most sung genre, followed by rock and dance songs. In the new year, we will continue to improve user satisfaction in karaoke and strive to provide a variety of new songs in different music genres.
