These Are The K-Pop Groups Who Won Big At The “2023 Billboard Music Awards”

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards was held on November 19, 2023. Several boy and girl groups were nominated for a variety of awards.

1. Top Global K-Pop Artist: NewJeans

First up, NewJeans took home the award for “Top Global K-Pop Artist.”

The ADOR girl group thanked their beloved fans for their never-ending support.

They also performed their hit songs “Super Shy” and “OMG” on stage.

2. Top K-Pop Touring Artist: BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK is another girl group whose efforts were acknowledged at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, being awarded the “Top K-Pop Touring Artist.”

Their BORN PINK world tour was composed of 66 concerts in 34 cities in 22 countries around the world. Over 1.8 million people watched the show, making it the most-attended concert tour by a K-pop girl group.

3. Top K-Pop Album: Stray Kids “5-Star”

Stray Kids, meanwhile, won “Top K-Pop Album” with their third studio album “5-Star.”

They thanked their fans for staying by their sides and continuing to spread their music to others in the world.

4. Top Global K-Pop Song: Jungkook ft. Latto “SEVEN”

Next up, BTS‘s Jungkook took home the award for “Top Global K-Pop Song” with his collaboration with Latto entitled “SEVEN.”

Others

Top Selling Song

BTS‘s Jimin was nominated for “Top Selling Song” for his single “Like Crazy.” The award, however, ended up going to Taylor Swift for her Midnights track “Anti-Hero.”

Top Duo/Group

Finally, although FIFTY FIFTY was nominated for “Top Duo/Group” following the virality of their hit song “Cupid,” they lost the trophy to Fuerza Regida.
