For the last couple of months, fans have getting mixed signals about the future of BLACKPINK as a K-Pop group under YG Entertainment. There have been rumors that some or all of the members are going to leave the label and start new careers elsewhere, but at this time, nothing has been confirmed yet.

However, something that fans noticed recently regarding the manager of one of the members has them even more convinced that BLACKPINK’s disbandment is inevitable.

Alice Kang has been the manager of Lisa for quite a while now. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has been working at YG Entertainment for a little over five years as a senior manager. However, her profile also shows that her position with the label ended in October 2023, leaving fans uncertain as to whether or not it’s related to BLACKPINK’s future plans.

But there’s more. Alison Chang, the manager of BLACKPINK’s Jennie, had a similar update to her LinkedIn profile as well.

After working for YG Entertainment for a little over four years, she also seems to have left the label as of October 2023.

While these developments don’t confirm the departure of Lisa, Jennie, and the other members of BLACKPINK from YG Entertainment, it is yet another piece of evidence to add to the list about where the girl group’s future is heading. Fans are asking the label to share what their plans with BLACKPINK look like, since there is still so much up in the air at this point.
