ITZY’s ‘WANNABE’ Music Video Hits 500M Views on YouTube

 

ITZY‘s ‘WANNABE‘ music video has surpassed 500 million views on YouTube, setting a new record for a 4th-generation K-pop girl group.

The music video for the title song ‘WANNABE’ of ITZY’s 2nd mini album ‘IT’z ME’, released on March 9, 2020, exceeded 500 million views on YouTube around 11:15 pm on the 3rd. It is the first K-pop 4th generation girl group to have more than 500 million views of music videos on YouTube.

‘WANNABE’ is a song that sang the message of ‘one & only ME’ to show your own color without being bound by other people’s standards. It is characterized by lyrics that express an independent and dignified attitude, signature ‘shoulder dance’, and sharp group dances that stand out with powerful energy.

ITZY the girl group from JYP Entertainment features the members YEJI, RYUJIN, YUNA, CHAERYEONG, and LIA who debuted in 2019.
