Kadeem Tyrell Releases Vintage R&B Track, “I Want You”

Singer-songwriter Kadeem Tyrell echoes classic 90s R&B on the lustrous “I Want You”, a song that matches the authenticity of every R&B great.

Produced by R-Kay, “I Want You” was inspired by Kadeem’s brothers’ proposal to his childhood sweetheart, carrying romantic lyrics and sun-kissed production capturing the essence of artists such as D’Angelo and Musiq Soulchild. Its lyrics translate as marriage vows, showcasing the power of the South London native’s writing in conveying a genuine feeling.

The song is lifted from his upcoming project, As Time Goes By, written and recorded during national lockdown.
